Tienny (Tea-yeah-nee) Francis Latif was born and raised in Jakarta, Indonesia.  Tienny was born into a photography-oriented family.  After graduating high school, she spent some years overseas to continue her education.  She also spent some years in Europe working and travelling to some other countries.

Tienny learnt photography in Nikon School of Photography in Jakarta during her high school years.  Besides practicing her skills, she also helped her parents in their photography business.  Her mother always encouraged her to sharpen her photo skills.

Her main focus is wedding photography as it was her family's oriented business.  Her style is photo journalistic by shooting unobtrusive moments.

Tienny currently resides in New York City, Tienny had lived in San Francisco and Austin, Texas.
